This document summarizes NAIST's statistical machine translation system for Asian language translation that was submitted to the WAT 2014 evaluation. The system uses a forest-to-string translation model with additional techniques like data selection, tokenization, parsing, alignment, language models, and transliteration/dictionaries. Experimental results showed significant improvements over the baseline, with the system ranking first in all translation tasks. Recurrent neural network language models provided further gains.
