24 30 X Bulbs 0/W 24/54 Bulbs Frosted Light
Bulb 100w
I am using these lights to create a
dramatic abstract feature but also to
add meaning for the audience. As
Yerma hopes and dreams for a child
her hatred towards her husband
becomes more and more intense. In
the end scene I want these lights to
come into the centre and drop down.
I would like to use a frosted white
bulb for these light that will be
encased in a blown glass tube.
I would light the
lights to be hung
in a somewhat
evenly spaced
manor that is
still in reference
to my shape I
have drawn on
the lighting plan
and in the key. A
more detailed
image of this can
also be found
with the lighting
plan.

has spiritual and religious themes.

63 Parcan 109 63 Light Salmon Interesting
Backlight
I have added in this colour because I
am not using back light however I
would still like some depth to the
scenes. This light is to be used at
moments of intensity in the script. I
have picked this shade because it is
an unusual ‘back light’.
This light should
be rigged as
close as possible
on the boon to
the middle light.

67 Fresnel o/w 67 o/w Warm off
white light
This light is used to create a shaft of
light that will shine from behind any
actor who enters through that specific
door. I have added this light in
response to the dancers and singers
that are in the play so they have a
more poignant entrance.
This light will be
rigged as far
right as possible
on the
designated bar.
The light will spill
only through the
door/walkway in
areas three and
six but no more
than half way in
each area. Use
barn doors on
the right and left
to narrow beam
to the width of
the door.

understand its intentions but still
