plants and animals undergo a series of orderly changes
as they mature and grow. Key concepts include
a) animal life cycles; and
b) plant life cycles.
3. Notes on the frog life cycle
First the frog lays eggs. Next the eggs hatch to from
tadpoles. Third, the tadpole grows hind legs. Fourth
the tadpole grows front legs. Fifth the froglet grows
lungs and begins to take the shape of a frog but still
ahs a tail. Finally the tail disappears and the adult frog
is now present.
5. Notes on the butterfly life cycle
First the adult butterfly lays eggs. Second the egg
hatches into a caterpillar. Third the caterpillar spins
itself into a chrysalis. Next the caterpillar transforms
inside the chrysalis into a butterfly. Finally the adult
butterfly is present.
