1. Ethical Style Initiative
Within the Australian Curriculum, students develop moral understanding as they identify and
examine the nature of ethical ideas, values and character traits, and perceive how reasoning can
help ethical judgment. Personally I have considered transparency as a conduct ensuing from an
organizational culture that values lots of the principals above (honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty,
equity, concern for others, respect for others, leadership, popularity and accountability) severely.
It does this by means of fostering the event of ‘personal values and attributes similar to honesty,
resilience, empathy and respect for others', and the capability to act with ethical integrity
(MCEETYA, pp. eight-9).
Building ethical understanding throughout all stages of schooling will help students to have
interaction with the more advanced points that they are likely to encounter in the future, and to
navigate a world of competing values, rights, interests and norms.
Moral risk in the workplace, specifically, the false belief that, so long as the legislation permits us to
do something fashion, it's thereby the fitting thing to do - and we can do it with alacrity.
