Weather refers to day-to-day temperature and precipitation conditions that occur in the troposphere. The four seasons - spring, summer, autumn, and winter - are marked by particular weather patterns and daylight hours due to changes in the Earth's position relative to the sun. Summer is the warmest season between spring and autumn when days are longest. Winter is the coldest season caused by the Earth's axial tilt, falling between autumn and spring.

2. Weather is the state of the atmosphere,
to the degree that it is hot or cold,
wet or dry, calm or stormy, clear or
cloudy. Most weather phenomena occur
in the troposphere,just below
the stratosphere. Weather generally
refers to day-to-day temperature and
precipitation activity.
