Don’t Look Back 
every step

Genre 
We have chosen to do a thriller genre film 
based on a kidnapping of a young girl with 
the glimpse of an escape. 
We’ve based our opening scene on a film 
called taken which is a English-language 
French action thriller film made in 2008.
Themes 
Rating – 
Our main target audience for our film ‘don’t 
look back’ is for mainly for the male gender 
who enjoy action, mystery and thriller 
therefore aged from 16-50 years old. 
The themes of our film is kidnapping. We will 
act out a girl who is kidnapped and kept 
hostage by a psychopath whilst throughout
Key Characters 
Our main characters are; 
• Rosie (the victim) played by Holly 
• John (the criminal – kidnapper) played by 
(to be confirmed) 
Extras 
• Friends of Rosie played by Zoe, Meghan 
and Lucy
Rosie leaves her friends 
(laughing) and starts to walk 
home towards the bridge 
showing a long shot of 
the bridge to give 
the viewer the 
suspense and 
length of how long 
Rosie has to walk 
and her escape is a 
long distance. 
She walks past the car 
- shot then on to the 
car showing a 
close up of his 
reflection in the
