Function
1. Tap Contacts icon on your Android device to enter the Contact list.
2. Then press Menu button and select Import/Export option.
3. Here you are provided with more options to either to import/export them
to SD card or SIM card. Choose one desired option to make a backup for your
contacts.

4. Optionally you can copy your backup to computer or upload it online.
Note: Please remember to update your backup regularly.
Sync Android Contacts with the Gmail Account
First of all, you should have one Gmail account. If you haven’t one, feel free to
apply for one from Google official website.
1. Tap Settings icon to enter Settings on your Android device and locate to
Account and Sync area.

2. Click on Add account option.

4. Click on Existing button to login if you have a Gmail account already. And
click on New button to create a new Gmail account if you don’t have one.

5. Input your Gmail account and its corresponding password to sign in.
Now you can see your Gmail account has been added to your Android device.
6. Click on Sync option and click on Accounts to select your Gmail account.
8. Click on your Gmail account and touch Contacts to sync now.

Now you have successfully backed up your Android contacts and can check
your backed-up contacts by login Gmail account on Google official website.
Though your phone lost, your contacts are safe and sound there.
Restore and Backup Android Contacts with Android Phone Geeker
