3. Good morming, I’d like to begin by
making the point that one day our
world will have one president, one
leader. I’ve chosen this topic because
I’m really interested in what will
happen in future, and I’d like to give
you my opinion.
4. To begin with, it is generally
acknowledged that globalization is
going on now. It is the process of
international integration arising from
the interchange of world views,
products, ideas, and other aspects of
culture.
5. Well, if the unification continues, one
day the whole world will be a one huge
country. It is becoming more and more
clear. And, of course, this country will
have a ruler. The one who will be a
president of the world.
6. Secondly, it is not only globalization
now, but also the fact which is not a
secret for anyone. There are some
more and less powerful countries in
the world, and the first ones are eager
to become even more powerful.
7. So, with time, the biggest ones will
merge smaller ones. Of course, it is
not a quick process, and very long
time is about to pass before this
happens. But, in my view, it certainly
will.
8. To sum up, the president of the world
is a future we are unlikely to see.
Globalization is a very slow process, so
the union of all the lands in one
country probably won’t happen in our
lifetime. But our descendants are likely
to live in such a country.
