As part of the Innovation in Product Development course, we traveled so Stanford University, California to represent our product at a global design innovation network showcase organised by the SUGAR network. Each team works on a diverse portfolio of projects with international partners. My team was partnered with the Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia to work on a project sponsored by a Japanese company called Beatrobo. The team was challenged to reinvent the future of personal identification and security. AirVerify incorporates multi-factor authentication through the use of fingerprint scanning and wireless 'tags' allowing workplace users to easily and securely access building and rooms, and to interact with their computer and workplace environment (e.g. cabinets, drawers) without the user of passwords. The tags can be incorporated in a card or a wearable device
