1. AIRnet is a total solution
Focus should be put on the total solution that AIRnet provides the customer
with. This means that the initial cost of piping and installation should be
added to the savings that will be achieved thanks to the lack of corrosion and
the lower energy consumption that the compressors will have due to the
reduction of leakages. Leakages are an immediate cause of increase in
energy costs.
2. Aluminum pipes compared to other systems
AIRnet offers a list of advantages when comparing to other piping
technologies. Galvanized and iron pipes have increased their prices
drastically. These pipes also have many problems due to corrosion
increasing the energy consumption, without mentioning the high costs of
installation caused by the weight and the welding. PVC pipes need to be
glued to the fittings and the risk of these exploding is quite high, especially
when there are temperature variations. Also the stiffness of PVC pipes is very
poor, resulting many times in installations that are literally bent and

AIRnet pipes have a chromate-phosphate treatment which gives an optimal corrosion resistance as well as a good adhesion with the outside
powder painting, while AIRnet aluminum fittings are anodized and have been tested to have a good level of corrosion protection.
A corrosive environment where AIRnet should not be installed is one where Chlorine gases are present, as well as hydrochloric and other acids
and chlorides.
