Basic rules tag questions:
The tag questions always use auxiliary verbs.
With affirmative sentences use a tag question negative.
With negative sentences use a tag question in the affirmative or positive.
The law of opposites
Affirmative, the question tag will negatively:
You speak English, don't you? Hablas inglés ¿no?
in negative sentences, the question tag is in the affirmative:
You haven´t got a pet, have you? No tienes una mascota, ¿verdad?
