[Challenge:Future] Engage me and I will Understand, Remember and Act!
Motivation...
1. My Motto: Dream beyond the impossible! Do the impossible.
I am a sociable team player who is able to draw a distinct line between work and play. I have
been involved in numerous social, community and spiritual development projects; since my
involvement in these, I have acquired people skills, communicational skills, leadership skills,
skills in multi-tasking, confidence, as well as working productively on my own and excellently
in a team. I am outgoing and am very flexible. I love exploring, reaching greater heights and
my passion is helping other people. I believe in going over-and-above the call of duty and I
strive for excellence.
I entered Miss Common Wealth SA because I know I am the charity and culture ambassador
that not only South Africa needs but the world needs. I find joy and complete happiness in
knowing that I have contributed into one’s life being better or them having a smile.
I have had the privilege and honour to represent the Catholic Church at the World Youth
Conference in Madrid, providing me with the platform to represent not just my parish/Durban
Diocese but our country as well. I embraced the Conference as an opportunity to broaden
my horizons, particularly in the area of empowering the youth of the church, which I have
always been very passionate about. As an active member of the Church community this
Conference provided invaluable networking opportunities to interact and engage with other
active youths from all over the world; sharing innovative ideas on how to further encourage
and motivate our peers.
Being Miss Common Wealth will provide me with a similar opportunity. It will be a platform to
not just further my endeavors and/or pursuits in social upliftment, food relief, spiritual
development and orphaned children, but to also encourage young people in re-igniting their
spirit of ubuntu. Moreover, encourage them to actively contribute in bringing about change in
their communities, province, country and ultimately the world.
