What is the purpose of the EPA?
The Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) is a U.S Federal government agency that was established for protecting human health and the environment by writing and enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress.

Incorrect reporting under the federal Emergency Planning and Community Right –to-Know Act (EPCRA). From 2005-2008 reports were submitted untimely and incomplete and correct Toxics Release Inventory (TRI).

EPA political interest was to protect the health of the people in Nevada. Cyanide, lead and mercury that were used at these mine posed a health threat.

What were the results of the agency’s action or inaction?
All subsidiaries of Barrick Gold Corporation agreed to pay a total of $278,000 in fines and spend an additional $340,000 to conduct an environmentally beneficial project.

The Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity enforces

Floyd Mallory v. United States Department of
Housing and Urban Development.
CIVIC ACTION No. 13-0367 (CKK)
Mr. Floyd Mallory filed a single paragraph claim March
21,2013 against Washington D.C Superior courts.
He was seeking $45,000 for pain and suffering arising from
alleged horrible housing living conditions.
Accusation of his landlord was exposing him for months oven
fumes, Holes in walls with infestation, pesticide and mold.
Which led Mr. Floyd to be hospitalize for a collapsed lung.
When and Where
The location of the incident was in Washington D.C- Columbia
District
March 21 ,2013 and the case was filed the it was dismissed
February 26 ,2014.
The case was heard in the Superior Court.

Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity (FHEO) Credibility.
Affected Parties
22. The Plaintiff Mr. Floyd Mallory lost his case.
The Defendant- United States Department of
Housing and Urban Development was able to prove enough
evidence to dismiss the case.
Results
The case was dismiss under the circumstances of the following:
Jurisdiction was wanted because plaintiff has not exhausted his
administrative remedies under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
The Plaintiff did not filed a claim under the Housing & Urban
Development department agency.
The Jurisdiction of the Federal courts is limited. The courts
needed to establish it before hand if they had it.
