I have worked for four years as an Educator for a Private School called Morning Star Educational Centre, teaching Life
Orientation, Computer Studies and well as doing administration work after school hours. I then moved on from there to work for
an International NGO called HOPE worldwide (now called Olive Leaf Foundation), first as an HIV/AIDS Counsellor in
Ngangelizwe Clinic (Umthatha-Eastern Cape) then I was promoted to Programme Coordinator for Orphans and Vulnerable
Children Programme, having five field workers and ten volunteers under my supervision. My duties as a coordinator included
supervision, Relationship and Networking with other Non Governmental Organizations (NGO), Faith Based Organizations (FBO),
Community Based Organizations (CBO), Government Departments and Municipality Departments. Fundraising, Training,
formations of support groups for children, formation of Community Child Care Forums for the Orphans are some of the skills I
possess.
I have also worked for SMT Health Solutions trading as Zoe-life for 4 years as a Psychosocial Support HIV/AIDS & TB Mentor.
SMT Health Solutions in a Capacity building organization working in partnership with McCord Hospital, Local, District and
Provincial Municipality and the Department of Health to improve Systems in Municipality Clinics.My responsibilities included
HIV/AIDS & TB Systems improvement as McCord Hospital wanted to down refer ARV Patients to 5 local clinics and Local
NGOs. My responsibility was to do the analysis of the clinic/NGO, to establish and recommend systems to be in place in order
to prepare the clinic to receive ARV Patients. I was also a Line Manager to 15 Zoe-Life HIV/AIDS Lay Counsellors from August

2007 to December 2010.My responsibility also included creating a healthy and a conducive environment for the HIV/AIDS Lay
Counsellors.
I have worked and also managed different projects in my working career such as Street Children’s Project offering HIV/AIDS
Counselling and Testing (HCT) to Street Children above 14 Years. Through my involvement with the Street Children Project I
was asked to be part of the organizing committee for the Street Children Soccer Tournaments to create HIV/AIDS awareness
and to promote Testing. The organization I worked for made a full package that will give continuum of care for the street
children. I was then asked to support the team that helped put together a Street Children World Cup with Umthombo Street
Children Project.
I have Years of experience in Psychosocial Support Services. I have grown so much in the field, credit to be given to different
Non Governmental Organizations I worked for. I have grownfrom being a Field Worker to an HIV/AIDS Counsellor, from a
Counselor to a Trainer/Facilitator, from a Trainer to a Counsellor Mentor, Form a Counselor Mentor to a Programme Coordinator,
from a Programme Coordinator to a Line Manager of HIV/AIDS Counsellors.
I have worked with AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) as a Capacity Building Officer/Project Officer from July 2011 to
date. Since Joining AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA), my responsibilities included coordinating, facilitation and
assessing all THOGOMELO Accredited Training. Have Coordinated, Facilitated, and Assessed Thogomelo Accredited
Psychosocial Support, Child Protection and Supportive Supervisions.Iam in possessing of a certificate of an
ASSESSOR(Outcome Based Assessment) Qualification. I have been coordinating the THOGOMELO Programme for AIDS
Foundation of South Africa (AFSA)
At AIDS Foundation of South Africa (AFSA), I was involved in facilitating Accredited Training and/or non-Accredited Training,
doing Assessments, Developing Training Material, Writing of reports etc.
I have also worked as a District Coordinator in a Community Work Programme (CWP) for all UGU District from 2012 to 2014
(March) as one of my responsibilities. The contract in this position came to an end on the 31st

I have grown so much in the field, credit to be given to different Non Governmental Organizations I worked for. I have grownfrom being a Field Worker to an HIV/AIDS Counsellor, from a Counselor to a Trainer/Facilitator, from a Trainer to a Counsellor Mentor, Form a Counselor Mentor to a Programme Coordinator, from a Programme Coordinator to a Line Manager of HIV/AIDS Counsellors.
