Youth:
 Young people between the age of 15 – 24 years.
 Youth is a person who is strong in mind, heart and body.
In some culture,
A youth is a person who is not yet
married and still depends on parents for social and
economical survival.
Consistent with the policies for rapid
economic growth which will create
opportunities of income generation for
Pakistani Youth. Following specific measures
should be taken:
•Micro Finance
•Internship and Job Counseling
•Skill Development
• Respect for basic human values, laws and religions.
• Sense of good citizenship, high standards of
morality.
• Discipline.
 Patronize sports and recreation activities,
sports competition, expansion of sports
facilities at all administrative levels on
sustainable basis with special emphasis for
young females.
 provide greater opportunities for the female
youth to play their role in socio-economic
development of the country.
 Supporting and guiding the youth in
identifying their potentials, overcoming their
failures, adopting the traits of good citizens
and boosting their morale for high
achievements in life.
 Talented and high performing youth will be
given recognition reward and incentive at the
national level.
 To expose youth to works and examples of
high achievers in the world in various walks of
life and to instill a passion to excel and achieve
excellence. Creating the sense of learning
lessons from achievements and errors of others.
 Take steps to promote scholarship, enhance
availability and access to academic material,
participation in conferences and undertake
talent forming programmes.
 National integration and harmony.
 Mutual friendship.
 Social interactions.
 Tolerance, understanding and values.
 • Strengthen the organizations which serve them,
especially those that address health and education.
 • Improve the quality of education so that it is held to
the highest national and international standards.
 • Incorporate the use of distance and e-learning so
that rural youth are not sidelined.
 • Initiate a broad approach to education that includes
programes that target older youth who have left school
at a young age to work in agriculture.
 • Include an explicit agricultural growth strategy
with a role for youth in mainstream poverty
reduction efforts.
 • Use the rural or agricultural environment to
enhance and provide context to learning.
 • Promote the provision of agricultural credit
schemes.
 • Provide information on how to increase
agricultural productivity.
 • Facilitate the movement of new technologies
beyond urban centres to mitigate feelings of rural
social and economic isolation.
