Dream
A dream is a fantasy; it does not
have any boundaries
It is a goal without leg

A goal is always accompanied
with a plan
It is an objective that you want
to achieve
3. What is Goal?
An aim or objective towards
which an endeavor is directed.
A goal is simply a target which
and individual or organization
intends to reach or achieve
4. Most people aim nothing in life
A man was travelling and
stopped at an intersection. He
asked the elderly man, “where
does this road take me?”. The
guy replied “Where do you want
to go?”. The man asked “I don’t
know.” The elderly person said,
“Then take any road. What
difference does it make?” How
TRUE? When we do not know
where are we going, any road
will take us there.
5. Why don’t more people set goals?
A Pessimistic attitude : Always seeing the pitfalls rather than possibilities
Fear of Failure : What if I don’t make it? People feel subconsciously, that if they
haven’t failed. But they are failures to begin with
A lack of Ambition : This is a result of our value system and lack of desire to live a
fulfilled life. Limited thinking people.
A fear of Rejection : If I don’t make it, what will other people says?
Low self-esteem : Because person is not internally driven and has no inspiration
Ignorance of the importance of the goals : They never learned this importance of goal
setting
6. Why set goals?
You take control of your life
You focus on the important things
You will make good decisions
You can finish the task efficiently
You will be self-confident and enthusiastic
You will make progress
You are closer to success
7. Why set goals?
Everyone of
us has
something
to offer . The
hard part is
channeling
that unique
gift in that
right
direction.
First you
must be
willing to
win. You
must be
willing to
do the work
to make it
possible
We all have
that
potential
but its what
you do with
that
potential
that really
matters
It’s the life
experiences,
the failures,
the successes
which gives us
a unique
knowledge,
perspective
and ability to
create
something
truly unique
That is
where goal
setting will
help you
accomplish
your desire
It is a
combinatio
n of
potential
and desire
that create
an
explosion
of SUCCESS
Before you
can make
any of this
happen
you first
need to
have
POSITIVE
MINDSET
9. Step 1
Identify Your Goal
If you don’t identify your
goal, you will never hit it
When you identify your goal,
it means that you must write
it down and describe it clearly
You must set your goals that
are specific
10. Step 1
Identify Your Goal
Your goal must be detailed as possible, Example ; “I want to increase my annual
income by 20%”. “I want to earn incentive on ITORAB and ETOVAC PLUS”
Remember to make your goal realistic and achievable but also make your goal
hard enough so you really have to grind to reach it
This is how you will reach to your full potential
11. Step 2
List the benefits of achieving your goal
Remember that
changing your life
is not always easy,
you will hit some
rough spots on the
road as you move
forward on your
journey
Let us be realistic
here, if there are
no personal
benefit, your
motivation for
completing your
goal will be
diminished
Write down in your
personal dairy the
list of benefits you
will receive when
you reach your
goal
12. Step 3
Identify The Obstacles
Many of the obstacles
can be anticipated, and
if you can anticipate
something, you can
prepare yourself in
advance to overcome it
13. Step 4
List the skills and knowledge needed achieve your goal
Knowledge gives us power to
accomplish things we would not
otherwise to be able to do and
Skills gives us the tools to take
advantage of our knowledge
There is a direct relationship
between knowing and doing, and
successfully accomplishing your
goals will require that powerful
combination
The skills you will need must be
identified
14. Step 5
Identify The Resource that can HELP
Resources can help us with the
knowledge and skills to become
successful
So when setting your goals, always
consider the people and the
groups you can work with that can
help you to be more successful
15. Step 6
Develop and action Plan
Developing
a plan is the
most crucial
step in
achieving
goal
It involves
thinking
through the
details of
achieving
your goals
16. Step 7
Set a Deadline
If you don’t set a deadline for completing your goal, you will
be not accountable to yourself or anyone else
If you are not accountable for your goals, you will not achieve
them
Set a realistic, achievable deadline to complete your goal
Now PULL your socks to achieve your goals!!
17. Are you convinced
that you need to be
goal setter?
Have you started
thinking about where
you are and where
you would like to be
18. Have you started listing
those obstacles that
stand between you and
your success????
