Who are the producers trying to appeal to with the range of characters?
They are trying to appeal to younger audience that are same age as
the teenage actors and relate to an average school day for teenagers.
They also try to appeal to Parents so they can see what might happen
in their children’s school day because not much communication is
received from an average pupil when coming home from school. Also
it relates to the characteristics of different races and ages for the
audiences that are Black, Caucasian, White, Chinese and others.

Why do you think the programme is scheduled on this day and at this time?
The producers broadcast at 8pm every Wednesday. They broadcast it
at time because it’s after dinnertime so it’s more likely to have a
family based audience also more popular shows before so therefore
it’s something to watch after.
