 Conducted phylogenetic study of neurotransmitter transporters in invertebrates and
vertebrates using RT PCR, BLAST searches and genome banks, contributing to a
publication.
 Designed experiments to study the effects of kinases on the uptake and efflux functions
of the octopamine transporter in a live cell assay.
 Examined the functional role of neurotransmitter transporters in a moth by RNA
interference and quantitative PCR.
