Introducing the topic which is Part of Speech, our particulars and lecture’s name and the
name for this course.

This slide shows eight part of speech. They are nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs,
preposition, conjunction and interjnction.

This slide shows the meaning of the nouns and basically highlight the different types of
nouns. They are abstract nouns, concrete nouns, common nouns, proper nouns, countable
nouns and uncountable nouns. This slide also shows some examples word for each types of
nouns.

are six types of pronouns which is personal pronouns, demonstrative pronouns, interrogative
pronouns, intensive pronouns and indefinite pronous.

Adjective is a word that describe a person or things. There are types of adjective. They are
positive adjective which describe nouns, comparative adjectives which is word that we use to
make comparison between two nouns and lastly superlative adjectives which is word that
show us which things is the best.

Verb is a word or group of words that express an action or a state. This slide highlights the
different types of verbs and their examples. They are auxiliary verb that also called as
helping verb, stative verbs which is verbs that express a state rather than an action and then
we also have dynamic verbs. Dynamic verbs are the opposite of stative verbs. They express
a real action.

The next slide is about the adverbs. An adverb is a word that describes or gives more
information about a verb, an adjective, another adverb, or even the entire sentence. There
are seven types of adverbs which is adverbs of manner, adverb of place, adverbs of
frequency, adverbs of duration, adverbs of probability and last but not least adverbs of time.

This slide show us what is the preposition. Preposition is a word that is used before a noun
or a pronoun to connect it to another word in the sentence. It is usually used to show
location, direction, time and so forth. There are some examples of preposition such as on, in,
by, under, above and beside.

Conjunction is a word that joins parts of sentence together. Examples for adjective such as
but, or, and and so.

This slide shows us what is the interjnuction meaning and also its examples. Interjunction is
a short sound, word or phrase used to express the speaker’s emotion such as hey!, oh!,
oops! and Wow! .
