3. Key responsibilities
Verification of records that are received from the bank network
Verify authenticity of the query requests (safe custody) made to the records unit
Update the records database timely ready for reporting to the team leader.
Retrieve queries that are requested for from the bank network and revert back to the
customer in line with SLA
Receive and store high value Safe Custody items in Bank’s safes
Sort records, systematically filling and labelling of shelves accordingly for easy
retrieval on a future date
Sort out records that are ready for destruction according to the company policy.
Destruction of Obsolete records
Receive ERLM documents from the network, verify them, and scan a copy back to
the branch of origin and files according to the procedures
Make reports of queries and records received and report to the team Leader timely.
