How to create sticky behaviors

What is a behaviour?
Example: waking up in the morning
● Trigger: alarm
● Ability (=simplicity): I can do it
● Motivation: ?!?!?
Example: waking up in the morning
● Trigger: alarm
● Ability (=simplicity): I can do it

● Trigger: alarm
● Ability (=simplicity): I can do it
● Motivation: ?!?!?
Motivation is difficult to achieve (& influence)
The easier the behavior, the less it depends on motivation
What is a tiny habit?
● you do at least once a day
● that takes you less than 30 seconds
● that requires little effort

Tiny Habit recipe someone entered Good? Suggestions
After I wake up, I will do 25 situps . . . I will do 3 situps first
After I arrive home, I'll put my keys in the box. x
After I turn the lights to go to sleep I will
disconnect my router

After I make the morning coffee, I will disbale
our alarm system
After I turn on the coffee maching, I will
disable the alarm system
After I get to my office, I will write down top
three goals for work.
After I sit down to start my day, I will
write "1" " 2" and "3" on a piece of paper.
