Thermal Engineering- Thermal engineering is a sub-discipline of mechanical engineering that deals
with the movement of heat energy. It is an important field that studies the transfer of heat energy
between two systems, transforming the heat energy into another form of energy.

2. Thermodynamic State
Each Unique condition of a System is called a Thermodynamic state. The state of a system is a condition of
the system at any particular moment which can be identified by the statement of its properties.

When the system changes its state from one equilibrium
state to another equilibrium state, then the path of
successive state through which the system has passed is
known as Thermodynamic Process-
