Program and Project Management
A large nonprofit healthcare organization wanted to expand its membership among
federal employees, but navigating the complex public sector landscape required a
unique set of skills and experience. Tapping into our deep healthcare and project
management expertise, we developed a comprehensive integrated marketing plan for
the client. With full support of internal stakeholders, the program was implemented
and the organization’s federal employee membership grew substantially, erasing a 20-
year decline.
Change Management
For a large healthcare organization, the SolomonEdwards team developed government-
mandated policies and procedures about patient confidentiality and user access. We
then conducted a comprehensive training program for physicians and medical assistants
at 35 facilities across the country.

Communications
A major cancer center needed a new information delivery system to help patients make
knowledgeable decisions about their care. We delivered an extensive communications and
training plan that included a process for tracking resources, conducting patient surveys and
reporting metrics. The new system improved patient care and enabled the center to meet new
requirements to apply for grants.
Business Process Optimization
With a significant increase in its Administrative Services Only (ASO) business, a leading health
care administrator needed to overhaul its operational processes to better support claims
servicing and payment. Working with their numerous teams, we captured large amounts of
data on costs, plan features, timelines and budgets, and then developed new processes that
balanced scope, schedules and resources with quality and risks. The resulting plan was quickly
adopted by senior management and implemented throughout the organization.
Governance & Regulatory Compliance
A leading provider of health services to more than a half a million patients per year came to us
to assist in identifying any risks in their system related to information technology and patient
confidentiality. We completed a full set of IT risk assessments including an IT strategic plan
review, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) assessment, disaster recovery plan review, analysis
of storage of sensitive data as well as an IT post-implementation review of the HIPPA X12
Version 5010 conversion. With our assistance this large provider can confidently serve its vast
stakeholder group.
