2. Introduction
• As per WHO - Non communicable diseases (NCDs), also known as chronic diseases, tend to
be of long duration and are the result of a combination of genetic,physiological, environmental
and behavioural factors.
• NCDs kill 41 million people each year, equivalent to 74% of all deaths globally.
• Ayurveda has provided various modalities to keep our body and mind in perfect state of
Health.
 Dinacharya,
 Ritucharya,
 Ratricharya
 along with these sadvritta, Achara Rasayana plays an important role in improving health.
