2. ABSOLUTE
• It is one type of Cartesian coordinate system.
• Absolute Cartesian coordinates specify a point’s exact
distance from the origin point of the coordinate
system, which is represented as (0,0).
• The absolute X and Y coordinates are signed
numbers.
• In this method we calculate the dimension from the
origin 0.0
• G90 code is use for part programing to select the
absolute method
4. ABSOLUTE
ADVANTAGES :-
• Easy method of calculate the dimension.
• Identification of error is easy.
DIS-ADVANTAGES :-
• Very lengthy method of doing dimension in part
program .
APPLICATION:-
• To do dimension in CNC machine for making a
required work piece.
5. INCREMENTAL
• Also called relative Cartesian coordinate system.
• Relative Cartesian coordinates specify a point’s exact
distance from the last point that was entered.
• All dimension are not measure in reference from the
origin.
• Incremental coordinates, the last point travelled to
becomes the new reference point on which the operator
bases his next move
• Next point dimension is give reference to the last of end
point.
• G91 code is use for part programing to select the
incremental method
7. INCREMENTAL
ADVANTAGES :-
• Easy method of calculate the dimension
• Fast method to do given dimension
DIS-ADVANTAGES :-
• Identification of error is complicated
APPLICATION:-
• To do dimension in CNC machine for making a
required work piece.
