1. Teacher’s script
Aminah, Su Lin and Geetha are my best friends. They are ten years old. They live in
Batu Kurau. They study at SK Batu Kurau. Aminah and her friends are pretty. They are
also friendly and kind. Their hobby is baking cakes.
Last Saturday, Aminah and Su Lin went to Geetha’s house. Geetha saw a cookbook
on the table in the kitchen. So, she asked Aminah and Su Lin to help her to try a recipe in
the cookbook. After a while, they decided to bake a chocolate cake.
Geetha took her mother’s scale out from the kitchen cabinet and set it on the table.
Meanwhile, Aminah and Su Lin prepared the ingredients based on the measurement in
the recipe. Then, Su Lin put all the ingredients into the mixer and started to make the
dough.
Aminah quickly greased the tray for the dough and put it in the oven so that the tray
could be preheat. After that, Su Lin poured the dough into the tray and let the cake to
bake. While waiting for the cake to bake, these three good friends cleaned the kitchen
thoroughly.
So, after forty minutes, the girls heard the oven buzzed. Aminah put a pair of kitchen
gloves on her hands and took the cake out. The cake turned out to be fine with great
chocolate smell. They were very happy.

2. The girls put the cake under a fan to cool it down and then cut it into slices. Each one
of them took a plate and put a slice on it.
Suddenly, Mrs Prema came home. She was very surprised with the girls’ work. She
made some coffee for the children and they ate together in the garden. The cake was
super delicious. She was the luckiest mother and proud of her daughter and her friends.
Since the girls are good at baking cakes, Mrs Prema planned to have a small party in the
neighbourhood next month. Of course the chocolate cake would be the main dish.
