To Whom It May Concern:
I am completing this letter to allow Tuan Do to receive school credit for the Fall 2015 semester. He has
worked here at IGT under my supervision as a Finance Intern from September to December.
I am providing the following list of objectives in which Tuan participated during his internship IGT.
• Costing Workbook: Tuan conducts a series of reconciliations using various costing models to
ensure consistency across the costing automation system and work breakdown structure.
• Report and Financial Analyses: Tuan frequently performs maintenance of the completed costing
portfolio through the use of a high level macro in Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, he is well versed
in troubleshooting logical macros as well as advanced functional formulas in Excel spreadsheets.
• Variance Dashboard: Tuan updates project forecasts on a monthly basis during financial closing,
maintains and runs numerous reports, and ensures that all workbooks are working correctly and
reconciled appropriately. Tuan pays very close attention to detail and exercises proper judgment
accordingly.
• Comparative Analyses: Tuan maintains various comparative analyses and monitors the ongoing
development and improvement of these reports. This report contains vital information for our
team. In my opinion, Tuan has rapidly progressed and became a stronger intern in all aspects of
the business structure.
At IGT, we feel our Intern is a great asset. With the above projects Tuan has been involved in, he worked
to his full potential and acquired tremendous experience.
For these reasons, I highly recommend Tuan Do to receive a credit from his internship with IGT and
hoping you will carefully consider a rating of 4.5 (1 low - 5 outstanding).
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Marylou Hudson, Sr. Finance Manager
