• Played A team waterpolo and hockey (Vice Captain) and was selected to play provincial hockey
• Completed my first Argus Cycle Tour (108km) in a time of 3h41

JUNIOR SCHOOL
• Acted in two theatre productions as a lead role for the Spotlight Drama Studio and received
award for hard work and reliability
• Played recorder (grade 1-4), Violin (grade 2-9), Marimbas (grade 6-7) and Piano (grade 6)
• Was a member of the choir (Vice Head Chorister), African Marimba band, School ensemble and
String ensemble (Head/Lead Violinist)
HIGH SCHOOL
• Played the violin, was involved in orchestra, string ensemble and Kidd House ensemble in grades

2. High School Career
• Awarded an ‘Old Boys Bursary’ to attend Bishops Diocesan College
• Enrolled as a day student at Bishops from grade 8 - 12
• Received an academic tie in grade 9
• First person from the grade to receive an all rounders tie
• Was selected to participate in the Bishops’ Exchange Programme where I attended ‘The Baylor
School’ in Chattanooga Tennessee, United States, for 11 weeks, immersing myself in all school
activities
• Selected to be a part of the highly contested PR (public relations) group, taking tours around the
school and taking control in school events
• Part of the committee organising the “K4K Charity relay”
• Honorary mention for my speech at Model UN held in Hout Bay
• Placed 8th overall at the National Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship
• Represented South Africa at the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship
in Pittsburg where I ranked 26th for persuasive speech and 45 overall in the world
• Selected as the chairman of Bishops Discipline
• Invited to attend the Global Young Leaders Conference in New York
• 1 of 3 to be nominated as Bishops’ preferred candidate for the Allan Grey Fellowship
• Awarded a Distinction tie for representing South Africa
