MEETING TIME 1 (Power point presentation)

Let pupils identify the pictures of the following words.
The pupil who can identify the picture will have a star/ribbon.
Read the sentences:
Ted has a bed. The bed is red.
Ned is wed to Jed. Ted led Ned to the hen.
Ted and Ned fed my hen.
WORK PERIOD 1 (Power point presentation)
Activities: Reading by group (1-4)
Group of boys, group of girls
Individual
A group or individual who can read correctly and properly will
get a star/ribbon and a good job clap.
Asking questions: (go back to the sentence)
The pupil who can answer will have a star.

4. Where did Ted led Ned?
5. What did Ted and Ned do?
MEETING TIME 2 Introduce fractions

Let pupils read/name the fractions.
WORK PERIOD 2 Writing Activity:
Let pupils copy the CVC words and sentences ending in ed in
their notebook.
Give a starto the pupil/s who has the clean handwriting in
his/her notebook.

Answer Wh questions regarding the sentences read. Performance Standard Kindergarten will read CVC words and sentences ending in ed and answer Wh questions with mastery and confidence. Learning Competencies Knowledge: Knows how to read words ending in ed Knows how to answer Wh questions Skill: Read wordsendinginedwithmasteryandanswerWh questionswithconfidence Attitude: Read correctly and properly Answer Wh questions with confidence SUBJECT MATTER Kindergarten can learn to read CVC words and sentences ending in ed correctly. Review Subtract the following: 12 20 14 18 15 - 10 -12 - 7 - 14 - 7 c. Motivation Showing a short video about wh questions Showing a short video clip of a kinder being interviewed MEETING TIME 1 (Power point presentation) Read: ed bed led Ted fed Ned wed Jed red Let pupils identify the pictures of the following words. The pupil who can identify the picture will have a star/ribbon. Read the sentences: Ted has a bed. The bed is red. Ned is wed to Jed. Ted led Ned to the hen. Ted and Ned fed my hen. WORK PERIOD 1 (Power point presentation) Activities: Reading by group (1-4) Group of boys, group of girls Individual A group or individual who can read correctly and properly will get a star/ribbon and a good job clap. Asking questions: (go back to the sentence) The pupil who can answer will have a star. 1. Who has a bed? 2. What is the color of the bed? 3. Who is wed to Jed? 4. Where did Ted led Ned? 5. What did Ted and Ned do? MEETING TIME 2 Introduce fractions 1 whole ½ 1/3 ¼ 1/5 Let pupils read/name the fractions.
  • 3. WORK PERIOD 2 Writing Activity: Let pupils copy the CVC words and sentences ending in ed in their notebook. Give a starto the pupil/s who has the clean handwriting in his/her notebook. EVALUATION Spell the word the teacher dictates. 1._____ 5._____ 2._____ 3._____ 4._____ ASSIGNMENT Read the copied words and sentences at home. Put parent’s signature below if done reading at home. MEETING TIME 3 Giving instructions, Cleaning assigned tables/singing or counting 1-10 to get ready to go home, closing prayer REMARKS Morning Class Afternoon Class REFLECTION A.
