Responsibilities:
Development and implementation of a wide range of administrative tasks:
 Arrange domestic and international travel and meetings for Stream Leaders,
using SERKO and SITS.
 Reconciliation of credit card transactions using SAP system, prepare and raise
refundable invoices.
 Provide technical support – format and produce final copies of technical
manuscripts, proposals, reviews, reports and correspondence.
 Assist in the preparation of materials for presentations, including visuals.
 Establish and maintain office procedures.
 Purchase office supplies and furniture as required.
 Undertake document management, photocopying, faxing and scanning.
 Coordinate responses from staff for reporting purposes.
 Liaise with Communications, IT and Business Infrastructure Services staff for
assistance in terms of equipment purchases and maintenance, and specific
information for group staff members.
 Maintain diary/calendar and appointments via Outlook and resolve
conflicting appointments as required.
 Manage emails and initiate and undertake appropriate follow-up action as
required.
 Assist with HR support in engagement of staff, liaising closely with CSIRO
Business Infrastructure Services as applicable.
 Enter publications through e-Publish, working with authors to ensure

required to cover core duties in absence.
 Relieve Reception according to roster system set, liaising with others to cover
absences.
 Act as base contact for a number of staff travelling overseas or in the field.

Organised travel and accommodation for key note speakers, venue and
catering as well as Workshop dinner.
 Assisted in data entry for Recreational Fishers project which enabled it to get
back on track. Acknowledged by a Recognition Reward for flexibility and
dedication in ensuring data entry wasn’t compromised in the Recreational
