I have a varied work history and experience with many different industries and areas of work. I have a
strong work ethic and take pride in doing the best job possible at all times and in presenting my

Contract role as to the policy and strategy team of this independent statutory body, involving:
 administrative support to the Executive Director, senior policy advisors and project officers to
facilitate completion and dissemination of action plans to government and non-government
stakeholders
 collating and summarising stakeholder input into action plans, including cabinet-in-confidence
documents and advice

Southern Cross Care (Qld) Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation providing residential aged care,
community and retirement living services throughout Queensland.
Key duties:
 Assisting the General Manager Quality in the review and updating of policies, guidelines, forms
and templates to facilitate progression of controlled documents to a more structured and controlled

electronic filing system. This involved extensive research of legislation, accreditation standards
and best practice information.
 Attending regular Quality Committee meetings to explain progress with updating documentation
and to seek committee approval for draft and amended documents.
 Assisting with the approval and publishing process for controlled documents.
 Assisting with the improvement requests process to ensure employee requests and suggestions
were logged and responded to in a timely manner.
 Liaising with members of the Senior Management Team and other employees for input into
amended and redrafted documents.
 Assisting with formatting and editing accreditation self-assessment documents for Residential Care
and Community Services facilities and offices.
 Drafting a document review schedule, assisting staff with locating documents in the new electronic
filing system and advising generally on quality and documentation issues.
The General Manager Quality retired at the end of October 2014 and during the five months it took to
find a replacement for the position, I undertook the role of facilitating the accreditation of the
Retirement Living villages and estates to the International Retirement Community Accreditation
Scheme (IRCAS) Standards. This required extensive research to draft and implement new
documentation. Also essential was extensive liaison with village managers and the General Manager
Retirement Living, as well as with the accreditation agency to obtain feedback on the new
documentation. Feedback was continually positive.
I continued this process until a new General Manager Quality was appointed.

Secretary to the Legal Director for Mineralogy Pty Ltd and other companies owned by Clive Palmer:
