EXPERIENCE
For IBM Czech Republic I have delivered consultancy services for IBM Cognos
Business Analytics solutions including strategy planning, architecture design,
installation & configuration, administration & support, solution development, review
& optimization, troubleshooting, and user/technical team
enablement in the Europe region. I have participated as a technical solution lead on
many occasions. I have performed business analyses and helped to deliver pre-sale
presentations and PoC’s to support various business cases and implementations.
Apart from project and pre-sale related assignments I have also delivered
classroom training helping participants receive technical certifications, and served as
IBM’s internal IT profession certification board member.
For Deloitte Central Europe I maintained/supported existing software + custom
applications while developing tools to help automate processes. I have created BI
content using Cognos BI while administering/installing this portal environment. I also
administered/configured/maintained a full scope Cognos planning solution while
leading smaller teams of developers. In addition, I created SQL
procedures/tables/views/data pumps/vb+sql tools for reporting as well as
uploading/updating data into existing database systems (ETL). I worked with
external consultants on various projects while cooperating on customizing current
