Real Time feeds from Global1 system of type MARKS/REPOINT/TRADE/SETTLE needs to
update at downstream systems EFCASH and GLOSS.
Key Job responsibilities were of a Project Lead to migrate the existing IM Project in to
BW.Design, development and testing of the project. Global1 system generates the files, File
Adapter polls for the file, publishes messages on EMS. BW engine listens to the message,
filter out the different types of messages like Marks/Repoint/Trade/Settle in to cash/non-
cash/cashPB for the downstream systems GLOSS/EFCASH.

rules and regulations and control market exposure to the firm and its clients.
Buy In department within CCS monitors and acts on the aged fails and delivers. Everyday
fails reports are extracted and data is researched manually for identification of fails. Once
the fails are identified, the Buy In department will send notices to all the parties involved in
the fail and will take steps to close out the aged fails, applying the rules for each type of fail
and following the deadlines and then send to DTCC.
Key Job responsibilities were of a Tech Lead/SD, to decide on technology to use, design,
quality development and execution of project. Designed, developed and tested a process for
BUY IN Outgoing/Incoming, we extract a data from BPSA, validate it, re-formation and send
to DTCC. Counter Broker in DTCC Accepts/Rejects BUY IN Intent; on which BUY IN
Department sends Fail Delivers for Execution to Front Office. Everyday Re-conciliation of Fail
Deliveries takes place with Local DB. End of day reports are generated using crystal report.

Project: Jan 2007 – May 2007 Private Equity Automation.
Investment opportunities in privately negotiated transactions across a variety of asset
classes for institutional and qualified individual investors. The current manual process can
be automated so that the time spent and risk involved can be reduced. The user will be
required to carry out minimal manual activity. Modules in project are Capital Call and
Distribution Call.
Key Job responsibilities were of a Tech Lead/SD, to decide on technology to use, design,
quality development and execution of project. Designed, developed and tested a process for
Capital Call which extracts a data from Excel sheet, validate it, send to ADP Mainframe
Systems. Any Exceptions occurring in a process creates a Staffware case, in which
escalation and tracking of records can be done. Designed, developed and tested a process
for Distribution Call which separates journals, checks and wire records and sends it to
different legacy systems, from which wires and Journals needs to consolidated and send to
ADP Mainframe systems. Similar to Capital Call process, all exceptions are handled as a
Staffware case.

Project: June 2006 – Dec 2006 DK (Don’t Know Trades are settled).
DK’s are unsettled trades or whose counter party for settlement is unknown. A data comes
from Mainframes (DTC or APB (Live Trade System)), gets published on JMS topics. TIBCO
Business Events deserializes those messages using Java code and than processes it through
various rules within BE. For every DK we create a concept and same is send to Staffware
(BPM), information is manually gathered by Brokers and feed in to Mainframe system, so it
gets removed from BE Memory, as we delete a instance and so is removed from Staffware
queues.
Key role in DK project was to Design and Develop BE code, Testing, Deployment and
Maintenance of same.

Houghton Mifflin is one of the leading educational publishers in the United States, publishing
textbooks, instructional technology, assessments, and other educational materials for

Deloitte implemented SAP and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based middle-tier
integration framework and infrastructure replacing the previous custom developed
application, developing a legacy integration abstraction service layer
Role: Analyzing and reviewing integration requirements, developing code to the
specifications, based on standard development and documentation standards.
