Responsible for the administration and team management of music ministry for a congregation of over 3,000
members. The ministry team includes an administrative assistant, Contemporary Worship Coordinator,
Assistant Minister of Instrumental Music, church accompanist, and church organist. My primary
responsibilities include directing the Sanctuary Choir of 50 members; planning congregational worship for the
8:30am Contemplative and Classic worship experiences.
Associate Conductor, One Voice Chorus, Richmond, Virginia 2011-2014
One Voice is a community choral group of 150 singers. The mission of the chorus is to promote cultural and
ethic diversity through music. I was responsible for helping to select the repertoire for each season's concerts for
the full chorus and ensemble.
Pastor for Worship, Ridge Baptist Church, Richmond, Virginia 2007-2010
Grew participation by 66% in all areas of ministry in under three years for a congregation of 250.
Coordinated weekly and special worship experiences for the congregation and community.
Developed an annual budget for music, worship, and Senior Adult ministries and managed resources of
$20,000 dollars.

Provided direction and oversight to a medium sized musical program that included Sanctuary Choir, Worship

Youth Choir Jam is a festival hosted every year by Ministers/Directors of Music in the Richmond VA area to
provide a festival choral experience for area youth choirs.
