While doing my doctoral studies, I became very fond of St. Catherine of Siena, but did not meet the Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids until I moved to New Mexico. It was there that I finally responded to a constant nudge—better known as God’s call—to religious life. After much prayer and discernment, I entered on Dec. 12, 2010, moving in with the sisters in Albuquerque while continuing my ministry in the Archdiocese. In August of 2010 I went to the Collaborative Dominican Novitiate in St Louis, and just returned to Marywood – the Motherhouse in Grand Rapids in mid-June, am currently looking for a ministry.
