1. Treatment
Advert one -
Within the first few seconds the two female characters will be introduced
as they are shown getting ready, chatting and drinking. This will be shown
in a range of close ups and establishing shots. The scene will then change to
the bathroom where a long shot will show one of the girls still holding a
drink while she cleans her teeth. This will be a shot of her back with her
face seen in the mirror. The scene then changes back to the girls bedroom
where the girls will be continued to seen getting ready, there will be a close
up of make up application and I may incorporate a zoom in to an empty
glass or wine bottle for emphasis. They will be sitting on the bed talking
and listening to music. There will then be a tracking shot of the girls as they
walk down the stairs in their heels and go out the front door. There will
then be a 1 second shot of the closed front door. The scene then once again
changes to inside the club where there will be close up shots of the empty
glasses as the girls down more shots and bang them on the table. The shot
will then change to a close up of the dancing feet of lots of people in the
club. I will also use a few different point of view shots. Throughout the
advert the shots will get less steady and handheld to show the state that the
girls are in. Next there will be a shot of the girls sitting outside the club. The
angry face of one of the girls will be shown in a close up which will then
pan to the next girl who is being sick outside the club. The girl who was not
sick will then stand up, followed by the camera and try and get the sick girl
to stand up and go with her however she refuses and the girl walks of.
There will then be a long shot of the girl sitting alone outside the club
which will then zoom in to her unhappy ill looking face. The black screen
will then appear as well and the word ‘think’ in capital letters. A few
seconds later the words ‘before you drink’ will come up. Lastly the logo will
come up in the bottom right hand corner.
Advert two –
This advert will continue on from the end of the last advert were the girl is
seen in a close up sitting alone outside the club looking vulnerable and ill.
There will then be an establishing shot as a boy approaches her. He will
then begin to converse with the girl. This will be shown in a range of over
the shoulder and profile shots. The shots will now range from close up
reaction shots and medium long shots as the man attempts to get the girl to
go with him to his car. As he gets increasingly aggravated by her refusing to
go with him will be shown in close ups of his and her face. As they walk to
the car it will be shown in a tracking shot of the pair as they head towards
the car. There will be an establishing shot showing the isolation of the girl

2. with this man at his car. When they reach the car a shaky close up shot will
show the man pushing the girl into the back of the car. The shot will then be
a close up of the back lights of the car as it pulls away. The shot will then
change to a medium close up of the girl looking out of the back of the car
worried. The black screen will then appear as well and the word ‘think’ in
capital letters. A few seconds later the words ‘before you drink’ will come
up. Lastly the logo will come up in the bottom right hand corner.
