1. Timothy Adams SSN: 511-04-7375
(910)-650-3014 DOB: 07/03/1990
2337 S. Santa Fe
Wichita, KS 67211
I have spent most of my adult life jumping from job to job trying to find what I
enjoyed doing most. I have worked for various types of companies, but most of my
experience has been industrial.
I have had training in dealing with disgruntled individuals and reaching a peaceful
resolution. I have an extreme attention to detail when it comes to organization. I am very
driven to get my job done well.
Job History
Wal-Mart
(316)-448-3567 Supervisor: Manuel Hernandez
10550 W. Central Position: Meat Associate
Wichita, KS 67212 Starting Pay: $11.70/hr-Ending Pay: $11.70/hr
05/16 to 08/16
As an hourly meat associate, it was my responsibility to ensure that the meat wall
stayed stocked and that any out of date product was removed from the shelves. I was also
responsible for the same tasks in the dairy and lunch meat sections and the frozen areas of
the store.
I left this job due to the conflict in my schedule with my schooling. I was unable
to get enough sleep after school before I had to go to work in the morning. I realized that
I would not be able to keep from exceeding my point limit and quit rather than getting
fired.
Apprentice Personnel
(888)-728-7874 Supervisor: Erin Troyer
800 S. Broadway Position: General Laborer
Wichita, KS 67211 Pay: Various/Hr
02/16 to 05/16
In this company I was a general laborer. The company is a temp agency, so I got
assigned to different tasks depending on what a client needed. Most of my time was spent
with a company called Henry Helgerson’s.
I left this job to pursue my career at Wal-Mart due to the low pay and unreliable
schedule. I have no hard feelings for this company at all.
2. LMI Aerospace
(620) 378-4441 Supervisor: Matthew Hall
1075 Fillmore Position: CNC Operator
Fredonia, KS 66736 Starting Pay: $11.00/hr-Ending Pay: $12.00/hr
10/14 to 02/16
As a CNC operator, I was in charge of running one or occasionally two machines
and ensuring that they were producing quality parts. This involved measuring each part
with precision tools and recording the measurements on a log to ensure consistency.
My wife and I moved to Wichita to pursue more satisfying careers and we did not
have much opportunity to prepare, and LMI has no transfer policy, so I was not able to
simply transfer to a local shop.
Wilson County Sheriff’s Office
(620)-378-3622 Supervisor: Lt. Daniel McMurray
925 Pierce Position: Correction’s Sergeant
Fredonia, KS 66736 Starting Pay: $10.50/hr-Ending Pay: $11.33/hr
02/13 to10/14
As the Correction’s Shift Sergeant, it was my responsibility to ensure the safety
and smooth operation of the correction’s facility. This included the safety and well-being
of all inmates, officers, staff, and guests into the facility.
I left this job to pursue one less stressful and not as detrimental to my marriage.
G&W Foods
(620)-378-3612 Supervisor: Dennis (Store Manager)
1715 E Washington Position: Stocker/Cashier/Carry-out
Fredonia, KS 66736 Pay: $7.25/hr
10/12 to 02/13
I was a basic all-around employee for this store. I did not specialize in anyone
area and was rotated pretty regularly from one position to the other. This was my first
real experience in retail.
While I did not mind the work much at all or the people I worked for/with, the
pay was not something I was finding acceptable at the time. Also, the work was not really
satisfying, I wanted a job that I was proud to say I did, That’s when I decided to apply to
the jail.
3. United States Marine Corps
Position: AAV Operator
Camp LeJeune, NC 06/08 to 06/12
During my time in the Marine Corps, I got trained in several different skills,
although most of them do not apply in civilian life, although, some of them have carried
over into my life after the service. I was qualified in what is called ‘Combat Lifesaver’
training, which is a more military twist on first aid. I also became well-versed in different
driving techniques and how to drive various sizes and shapes of vehicles. The biggest
skill that has carried over from my time in the military is my drive to complete a job and
my desire to see it done properly.
My conditions upon discharge were Honorable and I was discharged after the full
completion of my Active Duty contract. I have my discharge papers (DD214) if any
verification is needed.
