INTRODUCTION
 We have two study levels.
 We have 10 groups:
- Pre-school (from 3 to 5 years old)
 3 groups
- Primary (from 6 to 12 years old)
 7 groups
Situation of immigration
• Our student population in this
academic year 2013-14 is 265
children.
• National students  178 children
• Foreign students  87 children
67 % of our students are Spanish
33 % of our students are immigrants

Reality of immigration
• The 67% of our students are Spanish.
• The 41% (73 students) of them have the
nationality, but …
• Their parents are from other countries.
• They speak a different language from Spanish at
home.

CONCLUSIONS
• Those students whose mother tongue is not a
romance language, have problems when learning
our official languages.
• The 82% of our immigrant students have a no
romance language.
• 30% of students have Spanish nationality but
they have a different language at home.
• Therefore the «REAL» immigration in our school
is the 60%
• This kind of students needs as much support as
the immigrant students.
SO…
• It’s obvious many things have to be
done in the future to be able to cope
with our school reality.
• Nobody said it was going to be an
easy task.
