Potential Difference Inc. has begun commercialization of its Regenerative Acceleration Generator Technology and is in
the process of setting up a separate licensing and business development company. This report outlines all the existing
and possible future ReGenX commercialization partners, their roles and contributions.

Currently PDI is in the process of integrating the ReGenX Technology into a HERO Electric scooter sidecar to
prove viability. PDI has successfully established the ability to recharge the electric scooter’s batteries without
the decelerative effects of regenerative braking. Range increase expectation 30 – 50%.

ReGenX battery recharge technology now allows pure electric vehicles to recharge
their batteries without the decelerative braking effects associated with regenerative
braking… EV battery ReGenX recharging can begin at 10 km/hr and continue throughout
vehicle use. Conventional regenerative braking is also maintained.

and associated Control and Monitoring Software for Markets that range from Automotive Traction
(Electric/Hybrid Electric/Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles) to Materials Handling Equipment, Ground Support
Equipment, Distributive Power, Motion Control and Defense.
NuGen Mobility already produces an Axial Flux motor and would and
ideal motor control systems provider.

Background of Potential Difference Inc. PDI is a Clean-Tech/Energy R & D company which was founded by
Thane Heins and incorporated in 2005. Initial PDI research began as flywheel energy storage in collaboration with
Dr. Paul Allarie at the University of Virginia's Rotating Machines and Control's Laboratory (ROMAC). PDI was invited
to move its research into a satellite lab at the University of Ottawa in 2008 following a successful Regenerative

Regenerative Acceleration Generator Technology (ReGenX) Regenerative Acceleration Generator Technology
represents major breakthrough in EV and HEV design which will now allows all EVs to continually recharge their
batteries and may ultimately provide unlimited range and eliminating the need for plug in recharging once other
conventional and new battery recharging technologies are fully developed.
Regenerative Acceleration Generator Technology has the unique ability to reverse the regenerative braking
paradigm which is often employed in EVs to recharge the batteries while decelerating the vehicle. Regenerative
Acceleration Generator Technology reverses the polarity of the induced magnetic fields inside the generator and
creates a generator which recharges electric vehicles batteries while accelerating the vehicle at the same time.
ReGenX technology can be integrated into existing EV, HEV and ICE vehicle platforms or it can be developed as a
standalone motor/generator solution.

BASIC PHYSICS - Regenerative Acceleration Generator (ReGenX)
A conventional generator coil:
Operates as an inductor and stores energy in the electromagnetic field outside the coil – this external magnetic field is
responsible for the EV braking force which slows down the electric vehicle while recharging the batteries.
A regenerative acceleration generator coil on the other hand:
Operates as a capacitor and stores energy in the electrostatic field inside the coil between the wires - this internally
stored, delayed and then released magnetic field is responsible for the EV accelerating force which accelerates the
electric vehicle while recharging the batteries.
