5. How was your company founded, and what inspired its creation? The company was founded by experienced digital media, marketing and product technology executives who were inspired by the opportunity to harness the power of the Internet, data portability and the rapidly increasing ubiquity of mobile access.

6. What makes your company different from other companies in your market space? Unlike other online notebook type tools, we enhance and contextualize what you're saving. By pulling information from around the web, Springpad makes what you save even more useful - with offers, price comparisons, movie showtimes, and links to reservations, reviews and purchasing.

7. What has been your company's greatest accomplishment in the past year? As a small team we've been able to build a comprehensive data driven platform that has allowed us to quickly launch major updates to the web app, iPhone app, and Android app all in a very short amount of time.
