• An extended play album or ep album consists of songs that are more than
just a single
• The entire album is not longer than 30 minutes in length duration
• The album is considered an EP mini album because of the song’s track list

• A full album.
• Usually consisting of 6 songs or more
• Longer than 30 minutes in length duration
4. Research Question
• Gimbab is known to offer consignment to indie artists because they
are known to conduct consignment sales during the summer such
as the consignments sales that they offered for two weeks at a time
throughout the summer months of 2021.
• Gimbab Indie Records was founded by marketing reps from the
recording industry. Young Hyuk Kim(John) started Gimbab but was
also once was connected with BMG Korea and Sony Music Korea.

• On January 12 8pm Veloso Honda concert in Korea with keyboard
player John Carroll Gimbab records held the product ticket
information for purchase
• On April 23, 2022 the store held Record Store Day
• On April 22, 2023 the store held Record Store Day
• Saturday June 12th, and Saturday July 17th 2021 Record Store Day
split into two days because of the pandemic
9. Reflection
• Yes, I would use Gimbab Record stores when promoting local indie
artist’s albums or bands because within the local area they are a
store that specializes in various genres of music
• Not Limited to just South Korea
• Has worked with multiple U.S. distributors, wholesalers, vinyl
distributors, various artists and independent labels for artists album
promotions
