2. Three Favorite Assignments
• Self-Assessment: I enjoyed this assignment because it taught me a lot about
myself. I learned that I need to get my emotions in check in order to be
successful. This assignment made me enjoy diving deep into who I am which
is not normal for me.
• Chapter 3 Journal 11: I enjoyed this assignment a lot because it made me
take a step back and decide what was most important to me. It helped me
decided on my career in Animal Science. It gave me motivation to be a
successful student so I can achieve the life I imagined for myself.
• Service Learning Project: This assignment was very meaningful to me
because I learned a lot about myself while I was volunteering at the animal
shelter. Spending time with the animals made me confident in my career
path. I learned that it is my social responsibility to always give back to my
community.
3. Three Favorite Journals
• Chapter 6 Journal 23: I learned a lot about how to tell when I am off course.
I learned what my self defeating thought patterns are. This journal helped
me take control of my thoughts and actions to become a better student.
• Chapter 7 Journal 28: I learned that through the toughest temptations I still
need to stay true to my morals. I learned that not going through with a
commitment I made can start me on a path of falling through on all
commitments in my life. I also learned that being honest and dependable is
important in every day life.
• Chapter 9 Journal 33: I learned that I have grown since the beginning of this
course. I learned that I need to believe in myself in order to achieve the life
of accomplishments I want. I also learned that being in control of my
emotions can make or break my success.
4. Favorite Week
• My favorite week was week two. I was just starting to enjoy the class
and taking a deeper look into who I am. I enjoyed the two journals for
that week. I also learned that in order to make necessary
improvements, I have to be honest about who I am.
