2. 1) What do you think went exceptionally well
in the production?
From looking at this feedback the viewers found
cinematography to be something that went well. The least
voted answer was sound, this means that if I were to do the
production again I would choose to pay more attention to the
quality of sound throughout the play.
3. 2) Did you feel as if the Mise-En-Scene
matched the content of the play?
The most voted for answer was yes for this question – as mise-
en-scene matched the content of the play, in the future I would
choose to focus on other aspects that maybe didn’t match the
content of the play.
4. 3) Did you enjoy the play overall?
Eight out of 9 respondents enjoyed the play overall, this is
good as it allows us as a group to recognize how well we did
as well as the actors in the show to know how well they did
also.
5. 4) Do you feel as if the production was shot at
a high enough quality?
Eight out of nine respondents believed that the production was
shot at a high enough quality – this allows me to know that
what we did as a group was effective and professional despite a
few hiccups.
6. 5) Do you feel as if the sound in the
production was of a high quality?
Eight out of nine respondents believed that the sound was of a
high enough quality, this is good feedback due to the fact that
the church location wasn’t the easiest to work with in terms of
sound. In the future I would choose to use potentially more
sound equipment however, the sound was of a high enough
standard.
7. 6) What do you feel could be improved?
The answers in response to this question was varied however, the
most prominent answers were sound – if I were to do this type of
media product again I would choose to pay more attention to
sound. Another popular answer was the cinematography – if I
were to do this again I would ensure that the camera operators
are confident with camera movement, headspace and zooming.
8. 7)In the play, do you think the lighting was
satisfactory?
Seven out of nine respondents believed that the lighting was
satisfactory – although lighting wasn’t something that we were
in control of, I as producer would ensure that the lighting
technician knows the script well enough to ensure they know
where the spotlights need to be, if I were to do this type of
media product again.
9. 8) Was sound clear throughout?
Six out of nine respondents thought that the sound was clear
throughout – again, if I were to do this kind of media product
again I would ensure that the sound operator is confident
enough in their role to navigate sound.
10. 9) What skills do you think make a successful
producer?
The answers for this question were varied however, the common
denominator was effective communication, these include the client
and the production team. The answers also included good
organization skills and someone who is passionate about the work.
If I were to do this type of media product again I would choose to be
more communicative to the team and ensure that they know what
they are doing – in addition to this I would make sure that I organize
the team effectively.
