Group reporting – Preparation of monthly Financial Reports required for group
consolidation (MBCA Bank is a member of the Nedbank Group of South Africa);
Preparation of the published accounts (Press Release) and Bank and the Group’s
annual report in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards;
Responsible for ensuring that the day to day functions of the department are carried
out according to the laid down procedures manual and any anomalies smoothened

General ledger maintenance. Responsibilities include making sure that the general
ledger is balancing, properly mapped, and investigation of unusual daily movements.
Responsible for ensuring the submission of timely and accurate statutory reports to
the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe
Calculation and submission of all Taxes, (Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax and Value
Added Tax).
Supervising the payment of creditors on a daily basis.

with a workforce of 8 clerks.
