Thomas Edison's Kinetoscope : A prototype of the
kinetoscope was demonstrated by the Edison
company in 1891.
Following the screening of the Lumiere's moving
pictures in London (1895) cinema became a sensation
across Europe and by July the Lumiere had been
show in Bombay.
During the early twentieth century as a medium gained
popularity across India’s population and its many

balanced . Since all the criticism must be
