Most churched people have been so immersed in the church world that we have lost touch with what it is like to try to fit into a place that that has very distinct habits, language, goals, events, titles, architecture, traditions, expectations and measurements.

This is the Road Less Traveled. And there will be pushback. There is always pushback when change is involved. The pushback comes in many forms: pastors, sessions, individuals, groups of individuals, young, young at heart. Biggest concern is that being innovative might lead to abandoning
Some essential element of the gospel. But abandoning our calling as disciples and as one of the purposes of the church is not innovative. Therefore, is a road less traveled and we can find from church to church, from worship service to worship service much of the sameness.
