1. NSN and Huawei Projects for DU and Etisalat UAE
(April 2014 till Present)
Working as a RF optimization Engineer in Covenant (DUBAI).
Projects & Major responsibilities
LTE/3G/2G Post Processing:
LTE/4G:
 Complete Analysis & Post Processing of the Drive, walk Test Data, to make the necessary
changes to improve the network quality.
 Technical Support for Field Testing of LTE.
 PS Long call (data) (Around site) verification by logs.
 Complete Analysis & Post Processing of the walk Test, Drive Test Data, to make the
necessary changes to improve the network quality using Nemo analyzer.
 Intra-e Node B Handover.
 Downloading, uploading Throughput (Mbps) verification.
 PSFB, MTC verification.
 Cluster Level Network Optimization.
 Circuit Switch Fall Back (CSFB) Verification.
 Interaction with Customers as NSN and Huawei POC for LTE Activities.
 RF Coverage optimization (Hard Optimization) using antenna tilt and azimuth, fine tuning
for coverage issues by RSRP and RSRQ improvements.
 Walk test of VIP Area to insure Proper RSRP, RSRQ and SINR to meet the requirement of
Customers.
 Making SSV’s of e node B.
UMTS/3G:
 DT, WT Analysis of CS Voice, Video, Scanner, R99, and HSPA services on cluster level and
Reporting using Nemo analyzer 5.
 Making WT reports using Nemo analyzer, power point presentation of coverage plots and
high lights issue DAS and power issue.

 Evaluating and analyzing Pilot Coverage, CPICH RSCP, CPICH Ec/No, and Pilot
Pollution.
 RF Coverage optimization (Hard Optimization) using antenna tilt and azimuth, fine tuning
for optimal coverage overlap and reduction of pilot pollution by Ec/No and RSCP
improvements.
 Optimization for assigned clusters by recommending / applying changes in Neighbors,
Neighbor parameters, power and tilts until the cluster meet the KPIs.
 Troubleshooting problems like missing neighbors, coverage holes, areas of no dominance,
overshooting sites, parameter inconsistency etc. through drive log analysis.
 Monitoring DT kpi’s CSSR, CDR, HSR to improve network.
 Improve RSCP, ECNO, and Pilot pollution to improve CSSR, CDR, and HSR for better
services and match the customer requirements.
 Analysis of benchmarking to improve Network from other operators to be on the top.
 Troubleshoot dropped calls, low RSCP and Ec/Io issues to ensure good speech.
3G/2G, DT, WT, DAS / IBS Engineer
 SSV test (voice and video call, data test) using Huawei’s Genex Probe version 3.5 and Nokia
Nemo Analyzer5and Actix.
 Coverage test in dedicated mode.
 Sector Swap check.
 Walk test to check RSCP and EC/IO indoor.
 Indoor and outdoor CS and PS testing for corporate customer.
 Soft and Irat handover verification test.
