Lead Coordinator: Multiple clinical trials including: Phases: lb/2 to IV; Sponsor, Government and Investigator – initiated; for indications of Wet
Age Related Macular Degeneration, Dry Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Macular Edema, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Central Retinal
Vein Occlusion; involving delivery of Investigational Product via device, Intravenous Pump, sub-cutaneous injections, intravitreal injections, oral
tablets, and ophthalmic drops.
Responsible to assist in design, preparation, planning, regulatory submissions, recruiting, source document creation, implementation of
protocol, data entry, phlebotomy, processing and shipping laboratory specimens, obtaining EKGs, drug accountability, billing, scheduling,
electronic medical records (ERM), scribing, to function as the liaison between nine Investigators and each patient’s Primary Care Physician.
Accomplishments include having met and/or exceeded enrollment goals in every trial; top enroller in several trials; created study-related source
documents at Sponsor’s request which were subsequently distributed to all sites; conducted a video-taped interview by the Sponsor which was
distributed to all sites as part of Investigator and Coordinator training.
2013 Elam Mental Health Center, Nashville, TN
Sole nursing staff (per shift): on 12 bed Co-occurring as well as 6 bed maternal Dual Diagnosis Drug and Alcohol Unit.
Responsible to Provide nursing care, assessments, medications, education, and coordination of care for women with dual diagnoses of mental
illness and addiction, as well as for women who are pregnant or postpartum who are addicted. The unit provides a venue for newborn to toddler
ability to live on the unit with mom while she receives rehabilitation services. Worked closely with Physicians, counselors and the Department of
Children’s Services.
2010 – 2013 Maxim Health Care Solutions, Nashville, TN
Per Diem Nurse: for various venues including chronic care, school, mental health and addiction nursing.
Responsible to provide excellent nursing care in various health care settings. Direct hire by Elam Mental Health after working per diem on
continuous basis for approximately 6 months.
2011 – 2012 Golden Living, Springfield, TN
Director of Clinical Education: for Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses as well as Nursing Aids and support staff.
Responsible for hiring, training, competencies, and continued education of all newly hired licensed nursing and non-licensed personnel, as well
as required annual training, including HIPAA, of licensed and non-licensed staff. Responsible for planning, implementation of Infectious Disease
Control for both patient and staff populations.
2009 – 2012 DeBerry Special Needs Facility, Nashville, TN
Nurse/Supervisor Worked in every area of the Health Center including all skilled units, rehab, outpatient clinic, transit, as well as medication,
narcotics, sharps, and pharmacy rooms.
Responsible for a range of duties including house supervisor, direct patient care, Emergency Response, EKG, IV therapy, dispensing of
medications, processing medication into facility, triaging sick call, managing Infection Disease Control, phlebotomy, and all procedures related to
inmates in and out of transit.
Mental Health Nurse: Provide nursing care to a variety of psychiatrically ill inmates within prison population ranging from acutely ill in maximum
security unit to sex offenders in minimum security units while working closely with security, medical doctors and mental health treatment teams.

2. 2002– 2003 Tennessee Prison for Women via contract with Correctional Medical Services, St. Louis, MO
Director of Nursing for the only Medical Prison in the state of Tennessee for Women
Responsible for every aspect of the nursing staff at the only female intake facility in the state of Tennessee; including directing the provision of
care by professional and para-professional nursing staff, coordinating care and interacting between health care professionals, correctional and
administrative staff in order to meet contractual obligations. Responsible for: daily sick call, emergencies, pharmacy, outside referrals, the sole
female inmate infirmary in the state of Tennessee, inmate grievances, infectious disease control, staffing, continued nursing education, training
employees (both medical and correctional) regarding medical issues pertinent to the correctional setting, chronic care plans and the
implementation of such, special needs of pregnant inmates, assistant to the Health Services Administrator.
Accomplishment: Successfully created a team able to raise the standard of medical care within the prison to such a degree that the medical
unit missed 1 point upon inspection. The unit had missed 23 points prior to my hire.
1997-1998 Radiology Consultants, Inc., Nashville, TN
Research Consultant for Phase III Double-Blind study of an investigational salt used as a contrast agent in MRI for patients with CNS lesions.
Responsible for budget negotiations with the Sponsor, Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions, correspondence, patient recruitment,
screening, as well as functioning as the Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator.
Accomplishment: Successfully fulfilled contract with the Sponsor within 3 months (verses the 12 month allotted window) of IRB approval.
1994.1997 Advanced Clinical Systems (ACS), Inc., Nashville, TN
Director of Research: Start-up of Research Division of ACS from the ground floor. Responsible for all administrative, educational, operational,
monitoring, and financial aspects of clinical trials implemented within all ACS’s 10 Pain Care Centers in the Southeastern United States.
Responsible for ensuring that all IRB and Sponsor submissions were accurate and submitted in a timely fashion; serving as liaison between
Sponsors and Investigators; educating all Clinical Research Coordinators and Principal Investigators within the company; on- site monitoring of
Case Report Forms, Source Documents, and Regulatory Documents at each site; recruiting Pharmaceutical Company funded trials, negotiating
budgets for clinical trials; in-housed tracking of IRB schedules, adverse events, and all financial aspects of each trial for each site; generating
weekly research newsletter for all sites within ACS.
Outcome Measurements Writer: Responsible for modifying the patented Outcomes Measurement (OM) Protocol for Pain Patients within the
ACS network and writing the patented OM Protocol for Psychiatric Patients within the ACS network. Tasks included: review of literature,
identifying the clinical tools to be used in the measurement of patient outcomes, generation of OM-specific Evaluation Forms and OM Reports,
providing clinical assistance to Information Specialists involved in writing the software for the OM system.
Technical Writer: Responsible for the generation of a user’s manual for a patented Outcomes Measurement Software System by ACS.
Consultant: Responsible for the generation of instructional manual for how to conduct investigational clinical trials.

Lead Coordinator for several investigational drug trials for the indication of Alzheimer's Disease.
