techniques
7. Why use Virtual Skill Trainer
• Train and learn offline and not on the production line, go prepared to the shop
floor.
• A trainee can repeatedly use the system and practice till he/she perfects her skill.
Repeated usage does not lead to any degradation of the system.
• The ability to revisit training scenarios and learn at an individual’s own
speed, than in a pre-set curriculum method which may not cater to the individuals
learning pace.
• Train on operations planned for roll-out, before the plant hardware is established.
This ensures availability of trained personnel as soon as a new
line is operational.
• Creation of an inspiring space for Tier I and Tier II to be aligned
with your goals. Provide basic norms exposure (especially relevant where there is
higher employee turnout in phases and very high impact in the Tier II scenario and Tier
I scenario).
