 Cadila was founded in 1952 by Ramanbhai Patel (1925–2001), formerly a lecturer
in the L.M. College of Pharmacy, and his business partner in Indravadan Modi.
 Cadila Healthcare is an Indian pharmaceutical company headquartered
at Ahmedabad in Gujarat state of western India. The company is the fourth largest
pharmaceutical company in India. It is a significant manufacturer of generic drugs.
 Cadila Healthcare Ltd, A company Registered under the Companies Act, 1956.
 The Company is a leading Pharmaceutical company, and is engaged in the field of
Research, Development, Manufacturing and Distribution of wide range of activite
Pharma Ingredients.
 Ankleshwar plants :- Zydus Cadila's plant complex at Ankleshwar in Bharuch
District of Gujarat, has been producing drug material since 1995.
 There are many plants and departments in the complex, which is ISO
9002 and ISO 14001 certified approved by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration(FDA). Total plant capacity at Ankleshwar is around 180 million
tonnes.
 There are around 563 Employees work in Ankleshwar Unit –I. And around 364
Employees work in Unit – II.

CONTRACT LABOUR MANAGEMENT
 Organization have 9 or more then that employees and they have to took outside Contract
Labors, then it required to get registered with the Registering Officer of the area i.e. the
Assistant Labour Commissioner or the Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer by submitting an
application under Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970.
1. Form I Rule 17(1)- Application for Registration of Establishments Employing
Contract Labour
2. Form II Rule 18(1)- Certificate of Registration
 Organization have to mention total number of contract labors which they took from other
contractors. And if in future that number of contract labor were increased before that they
have to Renew their Registration.
 Any Contractor Provide 10 or more then that contract labors to organization is required
to get a Labour License from the Licensing Officer of the area i.e. the Assistant Labour
Commissioner or the Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer.
 Application for License shall be made in triplication in Form IV to the concerned
Licensing officer along with fee and a certificate form the Principal Employer in
FormV.

2. Form V Rule(2)- Form of Certificate by Principal Employer
 Contractor must pay the security deposit at the rate of Rs. 271/- for each worker.
 After Contractor enter in the Organization, Principal Employer have to submit Form
XII Rule(74)- Register of Contractor.
 If any contractor leave the organization, in that case organization have to inform
Government about that.

 I learnt there ARSWin-Pro Attendance Recording Software,
Which is linked with Biometric attendance machine. It is provided by Spectra
Technovision Pvt. Ltd.
 ARSWin-Pro is single user attendance recording
software & supports MS Access database. It has an impressive graphical user
interface with spread sheet style viewing for easy day to day operations.
 It has flexible policy set ups to define company policies. It is Suitable for any
organization which has less than 200 employee strength with simpler HR
practices.

INDUCTION
 An induction programme is the process used within many businesses to
welcome new employees to the company and prepare them for their new
role. It helps in the effective integration of the employee into the
organization.
 Induction Training include development of theoretical and practical skills.
 An Induction Programme can also include the safety training delivered to
contractors before they are permitted to enter a site or begin their work.
 It provides an introduction to the working environment and the set-up of the
employee within the organization. The process will cover the employer and
employee rights and the terms and conditions of employment.
 As a priority the induction programme must cover any legal
and compliance requirements for working at the company and pay attention
to the health and safety of the new employee.

CONTRACT LABOUR MANAGEMENT  Organization have 9 or more then that employees and they have to took outside Contract Labors, then it required to get registered with the Registering Officer of the area i.e. the Assistant Labour Commissioner or the Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer by submitting an application under Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970. 1. Form I Rule 17(1)- Application for Registration of Establishments Employing Contract Labour 2. Form II Rule 18(1)- Certificate of Registration  Organization have to mention total number of contract labors which they took from other contractors. And if in future that number of contract labor were increased before that they have to Renew their Registration.
  • 8.  Any Contractor Provide 10 or more then that contract labors to organization is required to get a Labour License from the Licensing Officer of the area i.e. the Assistant Labour Commissioner or the Labour-cum-Conciliation Officer.  Application for License shall be made in triplication in Form IV to the concerned Licensing officer along with fee and a certificate form the Principal Employer in FormV. 1. Form IV Rule 21(2)- Application for License 2. Form V Rule(2)- Form of Certificate by Principal Employer  Contractor must pay the security deposit at the rate of Rs. 271/- for each worker.  After Contractor enter in the Organization, Principal Employer have to submit Form XII Rule(74)- Register of Contractor.  If any contractor leave the organization, in that case organization have to inform Government about that. 1.
